Pathways brings high-quality music experiences to students at historically under-funded Philadelphia public schools. In 2023-2024, the school-year began with three schools surpassing 50 students in the program, and a total of 253 students across all schools—the highest number of students enrolling in the program’s 11-year history. A total of 214 students continued through the end of the year. This after-school ensemble program for historically excluded youth is provided at no cost for students eight additional under-resourced Philadelphia public schools offered eleven ensembles.
