ROSHNI was created to address the lack of diversity, equity and inclusion in the performing art scene. All youth served were born in refugee camps and immigrated to US in the last 3-10 years. Each year an average of 1200 youth are served, 80% of whom are BIPOC. Through partnerships with Aurora schools, New American Stories is an after- school/weekend program that gives youth the opportunity to create their own play telling their story at the
following schools: Ellis, Schmitt, Fulton, Crawford Elementary schools, International Academy of Denver, College View, Denver Charter High School and New Legacy High School. Salida
